Samantha was born and raised in Newmarket, England. She now resides in Southern California. She has three grown daughters. She lives with her husband and large golden doodle Wilfred, as well as with all the characters dancing around in her head waiting to come alive on a piece of paper.

Samantha received her degree in English literature and absolutely loves books, but her greatest passion is having a pencil in her hand. Samantha brings animals to life, whether in traditional settings or a magical world. She spends most of her time with traditional pencil and paper using watercolors and ink. She is now combining traditional art with digital tools to provide innovative work both in black and white and color.
